This amazing cake was produced in 2007. It is a blend composed of semi- aged 2 and 3 year Menghai loose leaf sun-dried Pu-erh tea.
This cake is the second release of the “Silver Dayi” blend. The first time Menghai released the “Silver Dayi” was in 2003 and since then it has increased in value faster than any other Menghai tea.
Although from 2007, this tea has already developed a gentle and mature sweetness, yet with a pronounced flavour profile, most likely since it is composed of semi-aged 2 and 3 year Menghai loose leaf sun-dried Pu-erh tea.
