Description
These leaves were collected during the early the spring of 2014 from century old tea trees in He Kai village in Xishuangbanna. The tea brews a deep bright yellow soup and has a strong and intense smokey taste with an astringency that shows great potential for ageing. After a couple of rounds the initial smokiness wear off and the remaining bitterness give way to a sweet and elevating aftertaste that waters the mouth with a faint citrus sensation.
