2016 TeaTong “He Kai Gu Shu” Raw Pu-erh

I produced this 200grams cake after collecting mao cha (raw leaf material) from 2-300 year old trees from the ancient tea-gardens in He Kai Mountain in Xishuangbanna. The cake was pressed in September 2016 from leaves collected in the spring the same year. The leafs in this cake are guaranteed Gu Shu (old tree material) of a high quality.

The taste is fresh, green, rich and deep with a full mouth flowery feeling that ascends upwards in the back of the throat. It has a lingering aftertaste and a strong chaqi (energetic effect) in the whole body. The fragrance is pronounced and inviting.

Since leafs of this quality is hard to come by a limited number of 10KG was pressed.
